SAWUBONA – “I see you”
The term “Sawubona” comes from the Zulu language and means “I see you” or “We see you.” It stands for appreciation and genuine attention toward others—an attitude that is often lost in our fast-paced world. The logo conveys exactly this message, with the eye serving as a symbol of mindfulness and awareness.
Behind Sawubona is a food truck concept that offers high-quality coffee and fresh, lovingly prepared dishes. For the visual identity, I developed illustrations that reflect these values. The three women depicted embody the joy of good food, community, and mindful enjoyment.
The color palette of the design is vibrant and natural—it represents a zest for life, diversity, and a close connection to nature.
