Brand Identity Design - Magenta

We were involved from the very beginning in the development of the brand identity for “Magenta.” However, this starting point provided the ideal foundation for building a consistent and holistic brand universe from the ground up.

Working closely together as partners, we first developed the brand name “Magenta.” The conceptual derivation is based on the CMYK color model, which consists of four primary colors from which nearly the entire color spectrum can be created. This idea not only reflects diversity and creativity but also serves as the thematic framework for the brand.

In the next step, a distinctive logo was developed that visually conveys the company’s versatility as well as the colorful world of painting. The octopus was chosen as the central design element. With its flexible arms, it symbolizes creativity, adaptability, and a broad range of services—exactly the values the brand is meant to embody.

The color palette is consistently based on the CMYK model and has been expanded with additional shades. The colors used include cyan, blue, and magenta, complemented by cream white, green, and a slightly lilac-tinged blue. This combination creates a lively, modern, and at the same time harmonious overall effect.

In addition, dynamic splashes of color were incorporated into the corporate identity as a design element. They highlight the brand’s creative focus and lend the visual identity additional energy and expressiveness.
